Mössbauer study of fired Lishan clay and terra-cotta warriors and horses of Qin dynasty (221 B.C.)

The sherds of terra-cotta warriors and horses and Lishan clay were characterized by Mossbauer spectroscopy, XRD, XRF, NAA, thermal and chemical analyses. Lishan clay was testified as the original material of terracotta warriors and horses, the kilning of these warriors and horses was first carried out in an oxidizing atmosphere, and then changed to a predominantly reducing atmosphere. With refiring experiments, the temperatures of Q3 and Q4 samples were determined to be 830±50 and 980±50°C respectively. Transformations of Lishan clay were determined by firing in oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. The Mossbauer parameters of Lishan clay, which was taken after 2–24h firing, were changing up to 12h.     

Population transfer in multilevel system through modified stimulated Raman adiabatic passage

Stimulated Raman adiabatic passage (STIRAP) has been successfully extended to multilevel system. During the STIRAP process, the intermediate levels have notable population which is detrimental if these levels could decay to other levels through spontaneous emission. This paper proposes a novel method to reduce the intermediate level population during the STIRAP process. A complete population transfer can be achieved in this modified STIRAP even if the intermediate level decays to other levels.     

Periodic and subharmonic solutions of a class of subquadratic second-order Hamiltonian systems

Some solvability conditions of periodic and subharmonic solutions are obtained for a class of subquadratic nonautonomous second-order Hamiltonian systems by the minimax methods in critical point theory.     

Periodic solutions for a quasilinear non-autonomous second-order system

In this paper, a quasilinear second-order system with periodic boundary conditions is studied. By the least action principle and classical theorems of variational calculus, existence results of periodic solutions are obtained.     

Micromagnetic analysis of transition noise for high-density perpendicular recording

In this paper, specific issues related to high-density perpendicular magnetic recording processes, such as transition noise properties and cross-track correlation lengths, were investigated with the help of micromagnetic analysis. The effects of media parameters were taken into consideration, including intergranular exchange coupling, and exchange distribution, irregular grain shapes, magnetization saturation distribution, and anisotropy distribution. The micromagnetic simulation results showed that the effect of anisotropy distribution on transition noise is more significant than magnetization saturation distribution, and it is crucial to reduce this effect to achieve a high signal-to-noise ratio. Additionally, a new method to further estimate the partial erasure threshold was proposed to approximate the partial erasure effects, and the relation between the microtrack jitter and total track jitter was investigated.     

Cr掺杂对Nd0.7Sr0.3MnO3电磁性质的影响

我们对多晶样品Nd0.7Sr0.3Mn1-xCrxO3(x≤0.30)进行了X射线衍射谱、电阻温度关系和磁化强度测量.实验发现:随Cr掺杂量的增加,样品的电阻率变大,电阻峰温度和居里温度降低,这是由Cr的介入弱化了双交换作用所致;在x=0.10附近,电阻出现了双峰现象,在其M~T上没有发现与低温峰对应的磁性异常;在锰位磁矩与Cr含量的关系中发现,Cr掺杂对样品的磁性几乎无贡献;通过分析,我们用相分离的图象解释了有关的现象.     

Ultra <Emphasis Type="Italic">LI</Emphasis>-ideals in lattice implication algebras and <Emphasis Type="Italic">MTL</Emphasis>-algebras

A mistake concerning the ultra LI-ideal of a lattice implication algebra is pointed out, and some new sufficient and necessary conditions for an LI-ideal to be an ultra LI-ideal are given. Moreover, the notion of an LI-ideal is extended to MTL-algebras, the notions of a (prime, ultra, obstinate, Boolean) LI-ideal and an ILI-ideal of an MTL-algebra are introduced, some important examples are given, and the following notions are proved to be equivalent in MTL-algebra: (1) prime proper LI-ideal and Boolean LI-ideal, (2) prime proper LI-ideal and ILI-ideal, (3) proper obstinate LI-ideal, (4) ultra LI-ideal. On the uniqueness of the foliation of spheres of constant mean curvature in asymptotically flat 3-manifolds

In this note we study constant mean curvature surfaces in asymptotically flat 3-manifolds. We prove that, outside a given compact subset in an asymptotically flat 3-manifold with positive mass, stable spheres of given constant mean curvature are unique. Therefore we are able to conclude that the foliation of stable spheres of constant mean curvature in an asymptotically flat 3-manifold with positive mass outside a given compact subset is unique.

     

带强迫项变系数组合KdV方程的显式精确解

通过构造两个新的Riccati方程组，推广了Riccati方法，使其具有简洁的形式，丰富和发展了已有的结果，借助Mathematica软件，求出了带强迫项变系数组合KdV方程的一些精确解，包括各种类孤波解、类周期解和变速孤波解. 关键词： Riccati方程组 变系数组合KdV方程 强迫项 类孤波解
